This is a video I forgot all about that I took in July of 2006 during the Selman Bat Watch sponsored by the Oklahoma Wildlife Department.
Mexican free-tailed bats use the Selman Bat Cave and a million of them fly out to fed in the evening!
The noise you hear is my old video camera picking up on the bats echo location as they get near the microphone.
We stayed nearby at Oklahoma State Parks- Alabaster Caverns State Park near Freedom, OK and really had a great time!
If you get a chance this is an incredible event in Oklahoma!
