Berlin Charité University Hospital started a new self driving bus pilot in the spring of 2018. The self driving public bus technology is still in its infancy and needs near constant assistance using an onboard attendant. During the 2 year testing period, they plan to remove the onboard attendant and monitor the buses remotely.
