This fight is incredibly irritating, and it's mostly because landing all (or almost all) the Sabimaru combo hits is REALLY important, otherwise you're going to get smacked or will have to use several more emblems to poison. The trick (which I screwed up on several times, lol) is to get 6 thrusts and 2 jumping R1, then to punish either a slam whiff, the poop throw, or the rolling tantrum attack with the sabimaru combo (R2+R1+R2x4+R1). The final R2 should poison (only takes 4 emblems), and the final R1 should completely knock him out of stun, allowing you to start over.

If youre wondering why I start off just using regular R1 combos with the blades instead of the much stronger stance shift combos, its to make sure that I get the blades to full immolation level. For some reason, the immolation meter drops like a rock when you do the heavy stance shift combo, and I can go the entire fight without filling the meter if I dont do R1s. It was definitely worth it, as I got 5 burns off on Olrun by the end of the fight.")
