The Seiko 5 Sports SRPD watches all feature a similar aesthetic "foundation" that is tweaked by the manufacturer to create many different styles of different formalities.

At a glance, all of the Seiko SRPD watches highlighted in this video appear like different models however they are all mechanically identical. Seiko really only changes the case coating, band type, and bezel/dial color themes.

The watches that form part of the Sports subfamily can employ different coatings and not just stainless steel cases.

The watches in the Seiko 5 Sports Suits subfamily often have mesh-style bands, whether they be steel bracelet or rubber straps. The dials often have vintage-inspired elements such as "patina" indices and other cream-toned accents.
