PAL 50Hz
A small collection of PSG-SN76489 white noise percussion solos leaving the other 3 square channels muted.
I thought it would be neat to upload something no one's ever done before, to upload a series of white noise beatboxing drum solos.
The drum and beat patterns don't follow the same patterns for too long on the same loop and change every few minutes to stop the listener from getting bored.
I won't say from what game these come from, it will remain a mystery?
NOTES:
1. These PSG white noise beatboxers have been beefed up on treble and a tad on bass by me, so If you're listening to them on headphones, try not to crank the volume too hard as the noises do tend to hurt your ears if the volume is too loud, it ends up sounding like little pins and needles stabbing your ear drums. I say that from a positive place, not a negative one.
2. These were recorded in PAL mode as the percussion from this particular driver sound better than what it does in NTSC.
3. Recorded onto a blank audio recordable CD-R disc from the Emulicious emulator by Calindro, I just muted channel's 1, 2 and 3 and left the noise to do it's thing. The disc was then played back on my PAL SEGA Mega-CD II attachment to my IC BD M5 PAL VA4 SEGA Mega Drive model 1 console and out through the front headphone jack.
