Over the the moon to finally be able to share this newest highlight in PS22 Chorus history, as the kids join forces with the great @charlieputhat the 2022 Robin Hood Annual Benefit held in the Javitz Center in NYC this past April, helping to raise well over $100,000,000 dollars for their charitable organization!! This performance is particularly special to me -- that it was the first time we were able to perform out of the school building and without masks are only some of the reasons. The unleashing of two years worth of live performance energy made for pretty powerful stuff. And Charlie? Well in addition to his enormous talent, he was truly a champion to and for the kids that night, doing everything in his power to make sure the performance was what it was supposed to be. And all of those efforts paid off major dividends.... Big thanks to robinhood.org and Fiur Productions for the invitation, for providing us the amazing footage of the performance, and most importantly providing our students another opportunity of a lifetime!
