The 101st Michigan Tech Winter Carnival theme was “Tasty Foods for Wintry Moods.” Huskies had a blast creating giant snow statues with intricate ice sculptures that took audiences everywhere from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory to Candyland—not to mention Jonah in the belly of the whale!

Nobody celebrates winter like Husky Nation. One of the biggest annual winter festivals in the nation, the beloved Michigan Tech tradition draws thousands of visitors to Keweenaw. Winter Carnival fun begins with All-Nighter Wednesday, when statues are completed for judging, and wraps up Saturday night with fireworks.
