The person in front of me got stopped by the security guard. They were asked to show their receipt, their bag was checked, their time was delayed. But when it was my turn… the guard just waved me through. No questions, no inspection. And it hit me—we don’t all get treated the same. Sometimes favor falls on us and we don’t even know why. Other times, we’re the ones held up, questioned, doubted. But either way, we’ve got to remember—our value doesn’t come from how the world treats us, it comes from who God says we are.
That moment reminded me of why I created my course, “Acting and Having Fun.” Because whether you’ve been unfairly overlooked or unfairly favored, you still have a responsibility to show up, shine bright, and enjoy the journey. Acting is about more than landing roles—it’s about learning to live freely, to express the full beauty of who you are, without apology.
