Is this a picture of a secret UFO crash or secret base captured on Google Earth?
Recently I was doing some research and came across a strange picture from Google Earth located in the barren wastelands of Antarctica. The location will be placed in the description.
Lcation on Google Earth: -66° 36′ 12.58″, +99° 43′ 12.72″
The opening of the mouth of the cave has been reported to be about 30 metres or about 100 feet. Which makes the opening massive.
Some researcher had put forward the opinion that this is evidence of some kind of structure. You can see the shape of something that appears to be some kind of door or maybe even a craft that had crashed.
Some others have speculated that this is in fact an abandoned Nazi base. It is known that in the 1930s that the Nazis sent forces to the Arctic in order to build a base.
According to internal Russian documents which came to light in 2006, the major 1947 U.S military expedition named
Operation High jump, was not sent to setup a research station, but in fact was sent to search for such Nazi bases. Researches sighting the massive scale of the operation which involved aircraft carriers, squadrons of planes and thousands of men, as far too large to set up any research station. And that such a force would only be sent if it was expecting to be engaged in heavy combat.
However, if the mission was sent to find a Nazi base or not, nothing has been admitted publically.
Whatever the case, Nazi base or UFO crash, you can clearly see it looks like some kind of artificial structure.
You can see on the metal door large round forms that look like rivets.
