Quirky, rhythmic, and fantastically fun to play. The title "seconds" has a double meaning (yay puns). The piece plays with your sense of time - beginning is rhythmically strong, right and left hand often playing different groupings. The middle gradually dissolves into ambiguity, and time "stops" before recapping the beginning. And, intervals of major and minor seconds are everywhere...
