The Corinto Crater in Mars measures 13.9 kilometers in diameter. It formed from an impact that ejected a large amount of debris and melted the surrounding Martian permafrost to form the distinctive fluidized ejecta features of rampart craters. The ejecta launched by the formation of the Corinto Crater produced secondary craters extending about 2000 kilometers from the impact point.
