Season 17 of Overwatch 2 is here, and it’s Powered Up with a brand-new Battle Pass packed full of 8-Bit nostalgia and preppy schoolyard flair. In this video, I react to and review everything the Battle Pass has to offer — from pixelated cosmetics to the surprisingly stylish “Overwatch Academy” theme, where veteran heroes take on the roles of professors and the younger cast become students at a private prep school.
We’ve also got a first for Overwatch 2: the simultaneous release of a Mythic Weapon and a Mythic Skin on day one. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on Horang D.Va, a stunning skin inspired by the legendary Siberian tiger, as well as the new Reaper Mythic Weapon, which finally lets you bring some mythic flair to your fragging right out of the gate.
