Overwatch has changed a lot over the past year—and not always in ways that are easy to notice at first. In this video, I take a step back to talk about Stadium, how it fits into Overwatch 2’s current direction, and why some of the game’s recent priorities have me a little concerned.
This isn’t a takedown, and it’s not a hate video. Stadium does a lot of things right. But when you look at how content has been distributed across the game lately, it raises some important questions about what’s being emphasized, what’s being sidelined, and who Overwatch is really being built for going forward.
If you’ve been playing consistently, sticking with Ranked or Quick Play season after season, this is a conversation worth having.
