While the rest of the country freezes in winter, the remote island of Fara suffers a terrifying, inexplicable heatwave. As temperatures skyrocket, a mysterious whirring noise brings sudden incineration to locals. A visiting scientist discovers that heat-obsessed alien beings are invading Earth by homing in on high-frequency radar impulses. Trapped in searing horror, the survivors must fight for their lives.
