i literally cannot stop listening to this song
i mean when i made the first draft of it i literally fell asleep at my computer listening to it on repeat
it was also 3 AM when that happened but that is surely irrelevant
i woke up from a balatro themed nightmare because after having slightly recently played modded balatro (cryptid mod) i felt tortured
the first draft definitely felt more balatro-style whatever, which i have managed to pivot slightly away from to remain original
when i say "felt tortured" i mean i could not recommend modded balatro more. however, you will regret doing so and hate yourself for listening to me.
if you have experienced it already and not felt the same then perhaps my little experience with it is not the true experience and i somehow got a bad version.
modded balatro was what caused my sleep schedule to bend itself enough out of shape that i was up at 3 AM listening to my song on repeat and falling asleep to it.
More Importantly
The Search
Which is different from The Chase, because I am the one doing the looking this time, rather than being the one hunted.
Unfortunately, the power I am trying to reach into and pull out for myself requires me to tear a hole in the paper of the world to do so. Might leave a scar, aka devastating consequences, so I will refrain from doing that for now, and search for an alternative method or a way to mend it after I do so.
I mean, it's not like the paper of the world (which is just a way to more accurately refer to the "fabric of reality" in these specific circumstances) is any more natural than my own influence here.
The paper actively infected reality to turn its fabric into a sheet of fibers instead.
Perhaps it takes permanent shape better than a fabric would, but it is over all a more weak substance, and it is all that separates me from obtaining the power that resides here.
That was a weird metaphor to use but hopefully it made sense.
Explaining the situation in terms of what it actually is is not only more boring but also harder to do and you should also learn about how I use metaphors. If you've read this far already I think I can assume that you might read more of my weird ramblings in the future, in which I definitely plan on using weird metaphors like this. So you've gotta learn right now or else.

Infected it and turned it from a fabric into a sheet of paper, which is more moldable but more flimsy,
I am on the other side of the paper of the world

oough welcome to 3 AM world where my words are from tired brain!! I just wrote 3000 chatracters in one sitting just to rant about something like 12 select people will understand in the end. and each and every one of those characters were bad.
