this is an interesting song
and i have a lot to say
regarding the song and the inspiration behind it as well
the two are heavily intertwined, of course,
the song itself is insane, i would list the time signatures in order here, but i decided it would be easier to convey that with a beat counter in the corner, which is what the numbers are.
each bar has a different number of beats for some horrible reason which is what is being counted up to in the counter
it is mostly because i heard a song from chapter 4 of deltarune and decided, hey, i could make something with weird time signatures like that
on top of that, my friend had sent me some of his own new music, so i decided that i would first base it off trying to mimic his style, which turned out mostly intact, if that makes sense. I wouldn't say you could easily mix up our songs based on our styles by comparing this one to it, but it is definitely closer than anything else before it.
And finally, the image, and the name.
Well, the images. it is quite the complicated visual compared to what I normally do. (though in reality it isnt all that complicated)
i definitely do not feel as though i did my intentions and inspiration justice with it, but it does give the small impression of what i wanted it to.
It is just something you reached out to in the deep void, with your faint blue strand stretching and twisting into shapes you've never seen before.
"nothing is ever *just* anything"
Oh, that's right. As fancy and likely not very high quality poetic as my initial description was, this has another meaning.
There is "luck" in that world that has one meaning, and logic behind it, and it will no doubt be something that comes back to haunt the story...
But this is a charm of good fortune,
Though it is likely not NEEDED right now, considering the current prior developments in the story, it is here and waiting patiently, not rushing anything and not demanding anything.
It is that the delay between updates in this story that i suddenly am highly invested in is immense, but it is such a good story that my immediate love for it greatly outweighs any possible upset at the slow development.
With this wait, I also have a community of people that will wait with me, and love the story all the same. Maybe not to the point of writing 2903 characters of my train of thought regarding it while remaining vague about what it is, but maybe not everyone has what I seem to be treating like a weekly public journal.
There are others that love it even more than me, and considering how impossible that seems to me, there is another layer of happiness that I find in this knowledge.
