I finally went back to Final Fantasy VI! I've done a lot from this game already but Searching for Friends has been on my list for a while now and I'm glad I finally played it! It plays right after Kefka manages to fulfill his plan and it basically left the world in ruin. It's up to you to regroup and find your friends by flying all over the world to look for them and take Kefka down once and for all! I love the vibe of this song, it's so sad but it also sounds hopeful in a way. The bass line is very driving and involved which is always cool and I had to put on my focus face to play it right and correctly so I wasn't very expressive in my playing this time around haha. I felt like rhythm guitar and heavy drums would ruin this track too so I went for a laid back arrangement and I'm happy with how it turned out! Final Fantasy VI remains to have my favorite soundtrack in the series and Uematsu always delivers with great music tracks and I hope you'll enjoy my Guitar Cover of Searching for Friends!
