Here's my version of The Under from Pokémon Colosseum! The Under is an area below one of the cities in the game and it plays this sick song. I love the groove and the smoothness behind it and imo, the whole soundtrack of Colosseum is super underrated! Tracks like this is why I consider this soundtrack amazing and I'm so glad I finally played this! I've had this on my radar for a while now but I was always intimidated by that one part right before the Chorus because of how intricate the note choices are and it was really hard to play! Mostly because of the intricate note choices but also having to memorize the whole sequence, that took some repeated practice to get it right haha. Also that weird bendy tuba sound before that part was weird to transcribe and replicate on guitar but I think I got something that sounds decent at least! It's funny to me because it kind of sounds like an elephant doing his noise thing and someone just squeezing its trunk tight mid sound to me in the original hahaha. The bassline reminds me of the Base music from Contra on NES and it lended itself really well to a hard hitting metal af riff so I went for it and this whole arrangement turned out pretty psycho that feels great to headbang to haha. I also felt like adding some bloopers to this video to show what goes on behind the scenes of these recording sessions sometimes haha.
