From day one our goal has been the same - bring creative and entertaining experiences to patients in pediatric hospitals. Today, this is more important than ever. We always encourage kids to visit our studios to learn the technology, host their own shows and interview special guests. But even when we started the foundation, we knew that this might not be possible for every patient, depending on their injury or illness. This is why we equipped each studio with the ability to broadcast their programming directly to patient rooms and even implemented dedicated phone lines to the studios, so patients could interact from a distance. Now, with more patients confined to their rooms than ever before, due to the impacts of COVID-19, they are still able to watch programming and participate in a safe environment.
