Bluefur, Mistykit, Stormkit, and Mosskit have stopped to lay in a snow hole Bluefur dug to shelter them from the cold. Mosskit appears to be asleep. The snow piles on Mosskit as Bluefur tries to wake them up. Mosskit’s spirit separates from their body. They notice Snowfur before them. Snowfur is frowning at first, but she smiles so she doesn’t worry Mosskit.
