❤️Solitaire❤️ Sam & Max AMV (Devils Playhouse Spoilers) crowla 2021-05-24 | *Spoilers for Telltale's Sam & Max games* I kept thinking about the end of season 3 so I made this... For anyone who didn't play this game but wants to feel informed, the last game in the series sees Max (the rabbit, your partner) turn into a eldritch monster that Sam (the dog, you) tries to save. You don't succeed--Max is killed. After the credits, a Max from the past shows up in the game's time traveling elevator and says all the same things happened in his timeline, but to Sam instead of him. One awkward silence later, they decide they're going to pretend nothing's changed.We'll never know if this impacted their dynamic, unless the upcoming VR game is allowed to reference Telltale's material. I imagine that Max would be pretty good at keeping the status quo, but Sam strikes me as more sentimental, which could make Max jealous if he caught Sam ruminating over the other Max. Kinda mushy, sorry I can't help myself XDMISC INFO This time I animated using vectors, which I haven't done before. I'll definitely keep using vectors for animation in the future because they're a lot easier to edit. A lot of mistakes and things to do differently next time, but I'm just happy that I was able to get this done before any of it got too old. 🌐MOONLIGHT SHADOW🌐 Spotfur & Stemleaf Warriors PMV/AMV (Broken Code #4 Spoilers) crowla 2021-04-12 | What's happening: After the rebel group disbands, Spotfur returns to ThunderClan and grieves her mate Stemleaf who died attempting to assassinate the imposter. Stemleaf is not able to get into StarClan because Ashfur has somehow stopped all passage. When I started making this, it hadn't yet been revealed what happened to the recently dead, so I have Stemleaf haunting Spotfur as he doesn't have anywhere to go. Spotfur goes with her niece Bristlefrost and Rootspring to meet with Rootspring's relatives, who are gifted spiritually and may be able to help with the StarClan problem. Spotfur is upset that Bristlefrost and Rootspring like each other and is grumpy throughout the trip. Rootspring's relatives, a traveling group of she-cats called the Sisters, sense that Spotfur is pregnant. The news frightens Spotfur because she's worried the kittens will only remind her every day that she no longer has Stemleaf. When the cats go hunting, Spotfur's frustration boils over and she recklessly goes after a hawk she has no chance of catching. Spotfur finally tells Bristlefrost that she's scared to have the kittens alone, and Bristlefrost promises that she will help Spotfur raise the kittens, which gives Spotfur new hope. Stemleaf understands that Spotfur needs to move on from him and stops haunting her.Misc info: Similar to the video with Smoky and Hazelpaw, this was an experiment where I decided to draw in a specific way. The choice to only draw the outside lines of the cats + their faces and the blobby appearance of Stemleaf were inspired by the DS game Drawn to Life, which I had just replayed when I started this. I made the first 30 seconds of the video in a few days back in January, then completely dropped the project until sometime last week when I decided I should finish it before it gets too old. Just like the Smoky and Hazelpaw video, all of this was produced quickly and without revisions, each 15 second segment within a few hours, so it's pretty rough. 🌊⭐WHEN I DIE🐠💧 COMPLETE 72 Hour Mistystar Storyboard MAP (Broken Code Spoilers) crowla 2021-04-05 | By some calculations, Mistystar is over 16 years old! That's almost bizarre for a clan cat. I wonder what her day looks like? This MAP strives to answer that question. The gray cat is Mistystar, the black tom is her son and deputy Reedwhisker, and the pale yellow one is the medic cat Willowshine. The cats across the river are Mothwing and Shadowsight. Everyone else is a miscellaneous RiverClan cat. A huge thank you to my cohost @Loporidae who not only made the gorgeous thumbnail and helped come up with ideas for this but also designed several of the cats and did an awesome job editing the credits! Ginger also did the editing of the MAP, but I added a few camera movements afterwards so if anything looks weird blame me. An unfathomably huge thank you to them and also to the participants of this MAP for bringing to life this wacky idea!Summary(long I'm sorry lol): Warriors is a rhythm video game where the only real character is Fireheart—everyone else is an NPC. Battles, hunting, and other warrior duties are completed like dance minigames. StarClan is one single cat, but inside its body is every cat in StarClan, and it rules this world. StarClan is obsessed with Fireheart—its only goal is to make an interesting story for him to play. If NPCs die when Fireheart isn’t watching, StarClan respawns them to use later. Except for One-eye, who has figured it out through observation, the cats don’t know that Fireheart is the catalyst for death and instead believe that StarClan only respawns those who are devout. As a result of this conditional immortality, cats worry a lot less about themselves and each other. Because Fireheart was not present at Snowkit’s actual moment of death, Snowkit respawns and continues on with life. Concepts like StarClan cannot be explained to him, so he tries to figure out how things work himself, with the help of his aunt and mentor, One-eye.StarClan didn't like one cat knowing about its game, so when Snowpaw starts figuring it out as well, it summons him to its realm to tell him to knock it off. In StarClan, Snowpaw can hear, but he's not interested in listening to StarClan and finds his way back to the game world. Events in Warriors canon proceed- Bluestar dies, Firestar becomes leader, Scourge rises to power and meets Firestar for the battle.One-eye and Snowpaw haven't shared their knowledge with Firestar because they don't know what the StarClan cat, who has complete power over this world, would do. But in the face of so many cats dying needlessly, One-eye finally tells him. Furious, StarClan collects Snowpaw, who it's obsessed with after he ignored it- it also collects Firestar and Scourge by accident.Snowpaw leads Firestar out of StarClan's realm, leaving Scourge behind. StarClan follows them to the game world, worried what Firestar might be thinking. Firestar is livid when he sees StarClan. He wails on it, glitching out the world as it depends on StarClan. The StarClan cat lets out Bluestar, and this calms down Firestar. StarClan only wants to make Firestar happy. He puts it to work helping around the camp. StarClan had never considered staying in the game world before, but it likes it because it's close to Firestar. Firestar gives Snowpaw his warrior name, Snowstep. 🍓WHATS YOUR MAMAS NAME?🍓 Smoky and Hazelpaw Warriors PMV/AMV crowla 2021-01-02 | What's happening:Slight AU where Smoky's mate Floss dies earlier, and where Daisy didn't briefly return to the farm with the kittens. Since Floss's kittens were taken by humans, Smoky is lonely. He seeks out Daisy to see if he can have a relationship with her again, she's like, you had your chance! And he goes home. Later, he sees Hazelpaw and Hazelpaw's mentor outside the farm. No idea where they're headed, I just needed them to be in the area. He sees that Hazelpaw looks like him and he wonders if she's one of his and Daisy's children. If so, he'd like to meet her. He goes and asks her, telling her he might be her dad, and she's like, stranger!!!! And then it ends lol. Extra info:I start MANY solo PMV/AMV blend type projects and to date I've finished one (a Steven Universe PMV, which is at least two years old now?!). I really wanted to finish something for once so over the past two days I made the last 25 seconds of this. I started in August, made 45 seconds in two days, then realized Floss didn't die until WAAAY later and I was like, screw it, this makes no sense now and I dropped it in favor of launching my Daisy MAP (I learned a lot about Daisy while I was making this!). I also remembered way too late that Daisy brought her kittens back to the farm briefly, meaning Smoky and Hazelpaw would know each other already.Oh yeah and this was an experiment! I gave myself a limited palette and decided I'd make very simple cats and bgs and that I wouldn't bother with sketching at all. It was fun making stuff this way, so I might do it again in the future. Lip sync is off in places, I'm having some problem with CSP where the audio isn't lined up accurately until I render. Didn't want to fuss with this for very long, I think it looks okay though! 🥀🐺🐑WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING🐑🐺🥀 Complete Hawkheart and Moonflower Warriors MAP crowla 2020-12-12 | Summary of events in the MAP: The ThunderClan warrior Moonflower was killed by WindClan’s medicine cat Hawkheart during a battle. Hawkheart killed Moonflower because she went after the clan’s medicine store. Moonflower went after the medicine store because her brother Goosefeather (ThunderClan’s medicine cat) told her that StarClan wanted her to. This MAP imagines that, after her death, Moonflower is upset with Hawkheart, believing him to have killed her unnecessarily. Hawkheart maintains that Moonflower deserved to die for attacking his clan’s medicine supply. The two argue and fight. With neither party willing to budge, there is no victor, and Moonflower returns to StarClan. If this doesn’t seem like my other MAPs, it’s because I did not create this one. With permission, Riley Ellis and I rehosted this MAP, which was originally written and launched by Spunkeii.It’s been a year and a half since this MAP launched—time flies! WarriorClan orchestrates the rescue of some cats who are stuck in the house of a person who has become unable to care for her cats, and some of the rescued cats join WarriorClan full time. 🌵☀️IT NEVER RAINS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA☀️🌵 Complete 24hr Daisy Warriors MAP (SPOILERS) crowla 2020-08-12 | SPOILERS FOR VEIL OF SHADOWS ARE IN THIS MAP!SUMMARY OF EVENTSDaisy the barn cat is mates with Smoky, but Smoky is also mates with Floss, and he favors Floss. Daisy and Smoky see WindClan and ThunderClan on their way to a gathering. Smoky fights with the WindClan cats while Firestar tells Daisy about clan life, which interests her because she doesn't want her future kittens given away by the farmer.Daisy has her kittens, Berry, Mouse and Hazel, and brings them to ThunderClan. Berrykit loses his tail in a fox trap. The ThunderClan camp is attacked by badgers. Daisy takes her children back to the barn, but they miss the clans. Cloudtail and Brambleclaw ask Daisy to come back. She's happy to go with Cloudtail, who relates to her as an ex-kittypet.She wants Cloudtail as her mate, but he doesn't want two mates, so she has a fling with Spiderleg. Spiderleg has no interest in Daisy or their kittens. The kittens grow up into Toadstep and Rosepetal.A sickness kills both Hazeltail and Toadstep. Berrynose is banished from ThunderClan, then dies in battle along with Rosepetal. Mousewhisker is Daisy's only surviving child. In the end scene, Berrynose's children, Cherryfall and Molewhisker, seek comfort from Daisy.COMMENTARYI know it's a 24 hour MAP, but it blew my mind how quickly this got finished! For those lucky ones who didn't watch Sonic X, Bokkun is a bratty little robot that delivers messages for Eggman. The gem thief Rouge discovers Bokkun has a crush on one of the Sonic heroes and then blackmails him so he'll help her steal any chaos emeralds that Eggman discovers (if I'm remembering correctly....
