After 125 years of unfailing goods, the Filson team made our first expedition to explore the Sonoran Desert and fish the abundant waters of the Gulf of California. Also known as the Sea of Cortez, this environment has been a destination and inspiration to countless outdoorsmen, naturalists, and anglers–including John Steinbeck, Ed Ricketts, and Jacques Cousteau. With Cousteau himself calling it, “the world’s aquarium.”
