One of the biggest issues with the PicoBoot mod for the GameCube is the speed limitation of the SP2 bus. Certain FMV games can experience stuttering, which can be pretty frustrating.

Recently, Extrems (the creator of Swiss) figured out a way to improve the speeds of the SD2SP2 adapter, which should alleviate these stuttering issues.

Silversteel took Extrems' hardware improvements and integrated them into the highly recommended "SD2SP2 Pro" adapter, culminating in the "SD2SP2 Pro 2.0".
