SCT's new batch of "CSR' locomotives , pull a shorter than usual , intermodal train towards the Summit at Mt' Lofty Station. These Chinese made units have earned the nickname "Riceburners" , due to their country of origin...but in reality, they feature a German .20 cylinder MTU Prime mover , and Siemens electronics, so maybe they should be called "Sauerkraut" burners??
Anyway , they do sound ok when working hard , so turn up the volume or listen with some headphones to get that 60 cylinder goodness!
