This series features a Scrub Jay pair (Aphelocoma californica) rearing a new brood of 3 chicks in a slightly different location in the same tree as the 2015 documentary. These edited and condensed highlight collections feature the most interesting and action-filled portions of the nearly 600 clips filmed during this documentary project. Filming was done mostly with a pole-mounted GoPro Hero 5 black in full 4K, 30fps resolution, which were subsequently rendered in full HD for this upload. These scenes were filmed from May 7th through May 11th. Near the beginning of this set, a thunderstorm passes through giving the birds a good soaking, but they just shake it off and continue life as usual!
