Coaxial bearings are necessary for any bottom bracket system to function as designed. If the bearings aren't aligned, the shaft, or spindle, cannot rotate freely because it is forcing the bearings into a bind. So when you press a typical 2-piece pressfit BB into place, it naturally conforms to the frame, and when the outside faces of the BB shell of said frame are not square side to side, the pressfit BB simply goes in until it's flush with the frame, leaving the bearings completely misaligned but looking fine to the naked eye. This is why a 1-piece, hub style BB is so important because bearing alignment is guaranteed by the hub-style, and all the frame has to do is hold it. The 1-piece, hub-style design fixes the problem of frame misalignment by nature of its format.
At BBInfinite we live to stop bottom bracket creaking. A creaking bottom bracket ruins a perfectly nice ride. It's also embarrassing when you are riding with a group and your expensive carbon bicycle is creaking and squeaking like a secondhand Walmart bike. The worst part is that a creaking bottom bracket is telling you that there is extreme inefficiency plaguing your drive train.Exorcise the creaks with our one-piece design, hub-style bottom brackets. A unitized design prevents the inevitable creaking of multi-piece units. Furthermore, a one-piece design (OPD) maintains perfect bearing alignment for incredible spin and extreme durability.Become infinitely faster...and quieter...with BBInfinite.
