Screen Australia evolves Documentary Funding Programs to meet sector needs.
Taking effect from 1 July 2025, the updates were announced by Screen Australia Chair Michael Ebeid AM, forming a key part of the agency’s new strategic direction.
On Tuesday 27 May 2025, Head of Documentary Richard Huddleston hosted a webinar to provide further detail on the updates and answer questions. All guidelines, application forms and templates and FAQs, will be released on 1 July. Eligibility requirements for the updated Documentary programs will remain the same as the those in the previous programs.
