Here Out West is a chapter film from eight emerging and diverse screenwriters living in Western Sydney, brought to the big screen by five female directors. One of those directors is Ana Kokkinos who in this behind the scenes video explains to Screen Australia journalist Caris Bizzaca about the challenges in working with multiple languages, casting real people in key acting roles and her decision to creatively use light in a key moment of the film.
Here Out West releases in Australian cinemas on 3 February, 2022.
