Subjectively the worlds best dark ride, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, and puts you in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance.
Riders join the Resistance and depart from Batuu in a transport ship to meet General Leia Organa at a secret rendezvous point. Along the way, the transport is captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. The action then ramps up as riders seek to escape the clutches of Kylo Ren and the First Order – with the help of some heroes of the Resistance.

Shockwave was the last remaining Intamin stand up coaster! Featuring a vertical loop, zero-g roll, and two corkscrews, the ride stood the test of time since its debut in 1994. In 2024, the ride received a new sit down train which enhanced the comfort of the experience so guests can enjoy it for years to come.
On ride filming is strictly prohibited at Drayton Manor Resort. We worked in partnership with the team at the park to film safely using our professional and secure camera equipment.
