Had a ride out with Colin with the primary aim of trying out a Royal Enfield Super Meteor for size. We were on “twin bikes” - identical Yamaha XSR125s. We had a good laugh at Biketreads in Swindon…..the Royal Enfield dealer which seems to be a bit of a biker’s clubhouse and had a good chat with Colin, surname unknown but one of @WiltshireMan’s mates who was telling us about his 110 year old Enfield. I booked the XSR in for a service and the Super Meteor was a perfect fit for *my* Colin !! Too many Colins!
Then we took the road through Wanborough, out to Bishopstone and on towards Wantage to have a spot of lunch in the delightful village of Childrey.
Then came the fun and games - I wanted Colin to film me riding past a couple of locations - partly because there is never any video of me riding but also I had no idea how my bike sounded…..it sounds totally different when you’re riding it. After a million “TAKES” we got some footage!
Then home. Great ride out, wonderful scenery decent weather.
