There was just four of us on the afternoon run:
Andy on his Royal Enfield Scram (411cc)
Mark on his Sym 125 scooter
Colin was on his Piaggio Medley 125 scooter
I was on my trusty Yamaha XSR 125
Well there is no doubt about it, Part 2 of the Last Hurrah, after lunch, proved to be a much more steady ride than the morning. The roads had dried up, it had been a beautiful day, but some of the road surfaces were still horrendous mainly though subsidence.
Again we stuck to the side roads for the most part but the shadows were lengthening and it was getting colder as we drew towards dusk.
Taken in isolation, it would have been a lovely ride out our nerves were still jarring from the mornings' "skill test" 😅
