Sci Fi Channel used to show educational programming on Sundays from 9:00 til sometime in the evening and "Inside Space" was one such program. They also used to take 30 second snippets of the show to show as part of commercial program breaks.The show was mainly about space and futuristic technologies coming into our lives, but it also had moments where it showed the distinct interplay between science fiction and science fact and how it is being used to shape our future. Nichelle Nichols and Geoff Foxx were the regular hosts. The series stopped being produced in the mid nineties but was shown in reruns as part of the "Cable In The Classroom" initiative.
