We're celebrating Franz Schubert's birthday (January 31, 1797) a bit early with this fun video, since we couldn't wait to share it! Scott transformed Schubert's famous song Der Erlkönig (The Erlking or Elf King) into Happy Birthday, and Clare planned and filmed a cinematic story to go along with it!

Filmed in beautiful parks near our home in BC, Canada! This is the first video that we had to shoot over several days, and Clare's editing is the most elaborate yet!

The transformation technique used in this arrangement is thanks to an assignment in one of Scott's grad school courses, where the professor, Emile Naoumoff, made each student transform Bach's C major Prelude into a piece of their choice!
