I first heard this song and decided to do a drum cover of it years ago. This was around the same time that I was getting into Periphery and Matt Halpern's style of playing with all the ghost notes, and I thought that playing style would work really well over dub step since they're both very linear. I thought the part up in my head, wrote it out, learned it, changed things, learned it again, tried recording it once during the Numbers EP recording sessions, wasn't happy with the outcome, scrapped it, got side tracked with a bunch of other things, started learning it again, and finally, here we are. The process took way too long, but it made me a much better drummer. This was all one take, the audio has not been edited.
