This song was pretty straight forward for me. I knew what I was going to play pretty immediately, except for the bridge, but after messing around with the bridge I wound up going with the most straight forward part after all. Sometimes that’s all it needs. Something I did have to adjust for were the snare hits within my groove that I play as right-left. Originally they were left hand ghost notes while my right hand continued playing the ride or hi-hat but after recording a take I realized my mic isn’t positioned in a way that can capture the ghost notes so I had to switch to the two handed version so that they were loud enough. Easy fix though and didn’t really affect the groove at all!
