After a Mep part with this song I made a year ago I felt like making more 'cause I think the song could fit this couple greatly

This AU is different from the Mep part's AU, it's almost like in canon. Sarabi and Scar were in love, but then Sarabi had to marry Mufasa and suddenly she fell in love with him more than with Scar. This new love was so strong that Sarabi almost didn't feel regrets for leaving Scar.
And Scar did. He is floating in the memories of the past, the happiest times when he and Sarabi explored everything together and each day was an adventure.
And Scar's mind almost can't truly understand things are changed because how can it all be gone, how can Sarabi act that coldly, how can they not be king and queen, in love with each other?
Scar denies reality, denies his own senses, he is living in fantasies and nightmares.
And one day, when Scar wakes up somehow, Sarabi comes to visit him. She asked how is he, is he feeling better? Everybody in the Pridelands thinks Scar got sick and kind of avoid him, like Scar avoided them in the beginning.
Scar tells Sarabi about those times when they were on the beach together, pleading her to start all over, to give it all another chance. Sarabi smilies, remembering her youth, but she says "no, nothing is coming back".
Scar is frozen in pain, and what would happen to him? Would he accept it, finally accept the new reality, or would he go deeper in his fantasies, maybe for good?
