In this second episode of our Spain Scania series, we’re taking you even deeper behind the scenes of Scania’s new global brand campaign. This time, the film crew mounts a massive aluminum crane rig — the kind you’d normally see in big-budget Hollywood movies — directly to the front of my Scania truck!
This crane held a precision camera system to capture every move as my passenger and I drove through the mountains of southern Spain. Seeing this enormous piece of film equipment bolted to the front of a semi-truck was one of the wildest experiences I’ve ever had — and it shows just how far Scania goes to create world-class visuals.
From the setup process to rolling shots down the open road, this video gives you a front-row seat to the level of engineering, creativity, and teamwork that went into filming one of the most impressive truck commercials ever produced.
