In Hull there is a Swing Bridge called Scale Lane Swing Bridge which opened on 28 June 2013. Ive used this bridge many times over the years but noticed it was not on Google Streetview which is odd seeing as its been open for 13 years so I decided to survey it. You can now finally walk across it virtually using my streetview.
It was the first bridge in the world to allow pedestrians to remain on the bridge and ride it while it is in motion which must be amazing to see.
I have surveyed both sides of the bridge and down the steps to the Premier Inn hotel and the footpath to the right towards the car park.
I have also done the river side walk down to High Street Pay & Display Car Park.
I have surveyed over 40 miles for Streetview over the years, mostly unique places and cycle routes, old canal routes etc. As you can see at the end of my video my content has been viewed 109 Million times !
