Years ago, ZUN's site had a page called "東方幻想的音楽", where MIDI files made for the Roland SC-88Pro could be downloaded for free. Between 1999 and 2001, ZUN posted arrange versions of many PC-98 Touhou Project tracks and arranged the entire Seihou Shuusou Gyoku OST. He also posted the Torte Le Magic OST and 6 tracks known as "ZUN's Strange Works". They only sound as intended on this module.
The PC-98 arrangements include select tracks from 東方靈異伝 ～ The Highly Responsive to Prayers (Touhou 1), 東方封魔録 ～ the Story of Eastern Wonderland (Touhou 2), 東方夢時空 ～ Phantasmagoria of Dim.Dream (Touhou 3), 東方幻想郷 ～ Lotus Land Story (Touhou 4) and 東方怪綺談 ～ Mystic Square (Touhou 5). Please don't call these "remix" or "remastered". These words don't mean what you think they do!

This is Romantic Children from Mystic Square.
I want to feel nostalgic about it, but I really don't remember this song much.(^^; Since I had no other choice, I remade it while listening to the FM version. As a result, it's pretty faithful to the original.
Since I don't remember anything from when I made the song, that means it wasn't that hard to make. However, when it came time to rearrange it, I was surprised at how the chords are a lot more complex than they sound. Then it's almost three minutes before it loops. This song is just full of mysteries... I wonder if I even made it. (^^;
As for the arrangement, I'm pretty satisfied with it. I stressed the romanticism across the whole thing. While listening to the original, I must have made the song with the idea of a precocious child in mind. With the latter half of the original song's intense, violent percussion, that seems to be the right answer. That does indeed bring out the childishness of the song. (Really now? (^^;) Lately, I've been checking out using MIDI, but it turns out that it takes a strangely long time to write songs in it, but as I've been experimenting with the effects as well, it's starting to speed things up as I learn them. This song took about 2-3 hours to make. (^^; But then again, if you don't listen to it with an 88 Pro, it's pointless. (;_;

なつかしい... と思いきや、この曲ほとんど覚えてなかったです(^^;仕方がないので、 ＦＭ版を聴いてから作りました。ですのでかなりオリジナルに忠実になってます。
で、全然作った時のことを覚えていなかったのですが、そういう曲ってたいていは作るの に苦労しなかった曲なんですね。 でも、いざアレンジしようとしたら、聴いた感じ以上に複雑なコードでびっくり。 さらにループまで３分ほどと長め。 謎の多い曲だ... ほんとに私が作曲したのだろうか(^^;
アレンジの出来具合は、かなり満足げ。 全体的にロマンチック部分を強調しました。こうして聴いてみると、ませたお子様って イメージで創っただけあるね。後半部分の激烈に激しいドラムはオリジナルがそうだっ たからそうしてみたけど、やっぱ正解だわ。あれが子供らしさを出している（ほんとか?(^^; 最近、Midiの勉強と実験をしていて、作曲に微妙に時間がかかるようになっていたのですが さらに最近、新しいエフェクト操作にも慣れて速くなってきました。 この曲も２～３時間で出来たしね(^^; もっとも、88Pro で聴かないとそれも意味ないというのが(;_;
