And, you can sing it on Smule Sing! goo.gl/wKBWF4
How this one came about: Looong story short: I caught a nasty cold in early 2015 that wrecked my voice so much that, even 6 months after I got over the cold, I couldn't even talk for 10 minutes without getting a sore throat. In spring of 2017, discovered the Smule app, and heard an amazing singer whose voice struck something in me as soon as I heard it... Hearing that voice inspired me to try and rebuild my own voice. One day I got an invite to collab on the song "Diet Mountain Dew", which is way outside of my comfort zone and normal musical taste.
It just so happens that my nickname is MD, mainly due to the fact that I do the Dew a little too much (getting better about that, though!) So, because of the title, I thought maybe I'd learn it and join in as kind of a joke. So I looked up the original on YouTube and started listening. Before I was even through the 2nd listen, the melody and a couple of lines for "Say a Little Prayer" popped into my head!
Coincidence? Maybe. But had I never heard that lovely voice of the absolutely amazing Chlotus, who knows when, or if I would have been inspired to try and get my own back. (I seriously don't understand why, at the absolute minimum, we haven't heard her on a movie soundtrack or something by now.) Also, had I never heard her, I wouldn't have gotten that invite and gone to YouTube to listen to that song. So, take that as an example that YOU just might make a difference to someone, somewhere, somehow, without even realizing it!

![Halo/ Epiphone tone Comparison
A comparison of the tonality of my Halo PT6FR and me Epiphone Les Paul Custom with Alnico II pro humbuckers, playing the same solo in the neck position. Then, just for gits and shiggles, I decided to see what would happen if I ran the two videos simultaneously. I [italic] did [italic] do a bit of digital editing to get the beginning to (kind of) match up. Other than that, I just let em fly.
