What’s happening is that the Hale family is having a fun time and are really happy because they deserve it!! The part is based before Alex and Catherine get divorced and probably before Erica goes to spy school. [before Trixie gets sent to boarding school, too] I head canon that Erica was closer to Catherine because they were both good spies, and Trixie was closer to Alexander because they,, weren’t good spies lol
The cracked stars represent how Alex and Trixie don’t really fit the legacy if it makes sense, this book series makes me really sad and you should read it right now
