The Saramonic MixMic is actually one of the first really interesting XLR audio adapters I've seen for the DSLR Market. If you've used older ENG and documentary-style cameras, the Mixmic design and layout should look very familiar to you. Saramonic has basically taken the concept of a top mount XLR audio adapter with boom mic cradle and applied the design concept to a DSLR adaptable package.
