Just Scribble | Sanzen 68 gsm Tomoe River Paper: How Does It Match Up? // Testing Their 1st Batch @JustScribble | Uploaded July 2024 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
In this video we will test the first batch of Sanzen 68 gsm Tomoe River paper and compare it to Sanzen 52 gsm TRP, Stalogy, old 68 gsm TRP, copy paper, Kokuyo business paper and Artist Grade 68 gsm TRP. I wanted to be sure that the quality was up to my standards before we used this new paper in our 2025 planners and notebooks.
Ultimately this new Sanzen 68 gsm failed our test and we cannot, as a result, use it in our 2025 planners. We will be reverting to 52 gsm Sanzen TRP for our initial launch. In the future, when Sanzen has had more time to test and improve the quality of their product we will revisit it, or if another paper option comes out we’ll look into that as well. But for now, we will be making our products with 52 gsm Sanzen TRP.
Because we are unable to offer the 68 gsm Sanzen TRP which appealed to many of you, we are looking at another option so we can offer two paper options. We’ll update you via email and social media if we can make this happen (we’ll know in the coming days) – and those that have already preordered will be given an option to change to the 2nd paper choice (if we can make this happen).
