Santa Rosa Island is the third closest of the Channel Islands in Channel Islands National Park. I set out to do a day trip there in October of 2020 and wanted to share it with you. On the trip, I hiked Cherry Canyon, spent time at Water Canyon Beach, and then walked the Coastal Trail. I also got to see Painted Cave, one of the world's largest sea caves on the way back.
