Before dashing off to a holiday festival, Tillie Treadwell enjoys a seasonal Fortean party for two with author Tobias Wayland, the husband of the husband and wife duo who recently produced the enchanting, educational book, The Yuletide Guide to High Strangeness. While Tobias provided the text for the book, Emily provided the illustrations, and both are equally as beautiful and intriguing as the other.
In this interview, together they plumb the depths of original Fortean theory, share their favorite true Christmastime and Yuletide stories from the tome, and discuss how and perhaps why both Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny may not only exist- but be related! Are non-human people residing in a slightly lighter vibration that human people cannot see, but is real nonetheless? Can you really catch a faerie? is there perhaps some moral to all of this?
