The film follows Dan, a young raver who clings to the safety of routine, headphones, rituals, solitude, while the outside world feels too loud and too close. In the city, he disconnects; in nightclubs, techno and drugs dissolve time and offer a fleeting place to feel free. But children, crying babies, and pregnant bodies begin to intrude on his carefully controlled orbit, and the two universes, partying and family, start to mix and merge, pushing Dan toward a breaking point and an acceptance of metamorphosis.
