Literally means "9th March", it's a graduation song. Japanese schools starts in April and ends in March. It can also be read as 3-9 (san-kyuu) which is the same Japanese pronunciation as "thank you".
The song was also featured in Tsuki ga Kirei episode 6, beautifully sung by Nao Touyama.

The short version I already uploaded got positive initial feedback, that really boosted my confidence. My new balcony is facing west, so we can now have both sunset and green views to work with.
The arrangement is based from the student choir version in 1 Litre of Tears episode 3.
This project is a one-man choir. It has 4 distinct vocal voices with 10 vocal tracks (1 lead vocal + 3 backing vocal I + 3 backing vocal II + 3 backing vocal III), so it's as if you're listening to 10 people singing together. Quite a complex project done in almost 2 full days.

1 Litre of Tears is a 2005 Japanese television drama / tragedy based on a true story about a girl who was diagnosed with an incurable degenerative disease at the age of 15.
This drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived her life to the fullest. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed, entitled, One Litre of Tears has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.
Fifteen-year-old Ikeuchi Aya is an ordinary girl, soon to be high school student and daughter of a family who works at a shop that makes tofu. As time passes, unusual things start happening to Aya. She begins falling down often and walking strangely. Her mother Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration - a rare disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. Minami-ke 1st opening - Keikenchi Joushouchuu [Piano Cover]

THIS might just be the happiest song in the world, it feels as if it screams happiness all over the place. Definitely the happiest song Ive ever listened to. Enjoyed every single second of playing this piece, its incredibly satisfying. All the melody and harmony work together seamlessly. One of the most underrated theme in my opinion. I wonder why Minami-ke Tadaimas opening gets literally all the attention.
Also, time and time again I want to try something new with the video format. This time, I learned how to feather video edges from scratch while editing the entire clip. This format doesnt limit how many angles I want to show, so I can show both the main track and the overdubbed tracks instead of having to switch back and forth like on my previous videos.

After almost 20 years, the continuation to Cardcaptor Sakura is finally here, and Maaya Sakamoto is back as the lead singer of the opening. This opening theme CLEAR is composed by Yoshiki Mizuno from Ikimono-gakari. Although not Yoko Kannos composition like the 3rd opening, I feel like this song perfectly pays homage to all the previous openings, blending all the characteristics of the three previous songs almost perfectly. That intro though, its almost as beautiful as the 3rd opening Platinum, which I still regard as the best opening theme of any show period.
About the cover:
While my previous cover was based off the PV, this cover is based on the TV anime opening, and man that intro is really good. In fact its one of the main reasons why I was so eager to cover this, as it was absent in the PV. This is the more accurate arrangement as everything can be heard clearly in the TV anime opening compared to the PV, and made it much easier to learn.
If you feel like youve heard this piano sound somewhere else, then youre right. The sound Im using for this cover is recorded directly from the RD-800 generated by its sound engine, sampled from their highest-end V-Piano, which is the piano Marasy uses.
This is my original arrangement, learned with the power of hearing.

My Most Precious Treasure (一番の宝物, Ichiban no Takaramono) is a song by various artists from the Angel Beats! franchise. Three separate renditions of this song exist: Yuis version, the original version, and Yuis final version. Yuis version was used as an ending theme for Episode 10 of the anime series. The original version was played in the final episode and is sung by karuta. The song was released in the Angel Beats! Original Soundtrack.
This cover is based on the original version sung by karuta and played at the very end of episode 13. The original version is told from the perspective of someone who must part ways with his/her past experiences and move onto a new path. This song is arguably the most touching in the series, I have three words to explain why: Jun freaking Maeda.
About the cover:
I already covered this song back in December 2013 as a 1,000 subscribers special with the Yamaha M1. As Im uploading, this channel has 10,500+ subscribers, over ten times as much. This shows just how much progress can be made in less than four years, not just in terms of arrangement, but also overall quality.
I had been planning to re-cover this song for quite some time, and this video perfectly shows the dynamic range and expressiveness of the RD-800. Heres my personal experience having it for almost 2 weeks: I dont feel like playing a digital instrument, it feels and behaves so much like an acoustic instrument. Its almost unbelievable how Roland was able to achieve this. Playing the RD-800 feels like as if youre playing a real grand piano in a studio with headphones on. Each note of the piano sounds have their own very distinct characteristics, something which you can hear quite clearly in this video. It behaves exactly how I want it to behave, all the feedback just feels right, and thats a critical factor for musicians with their instruments. I custom-tailored the piano sound and nuance specifically for this song, which I later saved into the Live Sets and named it SSS after Shinda Sekai Sensen.

University classes are at full throttle. I have so many songs to learn and cover, but my time is getting really limited. There will be days where I cant even touch my piano for a few days. I will be less active than usual until mid-December, but I usually find a few spare hours on the weekends to make videos, and by weekends I mean Friday nights.

lit(var) is a soundtrack from A Silent Voice / Koe no Katachi by Kensuke Ushio. Its a variation of the shorter piano-only version of the soundtrack titled lit.
Many people just refer to this track as lit, but it is actually lit(var). lit the shorter version of the soundtrack without orchestra.
I experimented with the piano sounds and mix. This soundtrack is only played once in the film at its climax, when Shouya finally achieves the light.
Although Shouko is the main heroine and seems to be the center of everything in the film, in truth, its about Shouyas journey through his redemption. The film is full of hidden messages in its visuals.

The scene at the end where Shouya uncovers his ears marks the first time in so long that he decided to hear the world again, and then realising just how beautiful everything is once he started to listen. This is very well expressed in the music (I really mean it!), with it going from muted to full power. That feeling when you watch the ending scene and is most likely the same feeling he has, all thanks to the soundtrack that is lit(var).

This song is a part of an album / EP is a collection of my covers & remakes of the most iconic soundtracks from the critically acclaimed anime film A Silent Voice. All of them were either partially or entirely remade from the ones on my YouTube channel. None of the sounds from the original soundtracks were used / sampled.
Kensuke Ushio, the composer of the soundtracks, used 3-letter identification codes for the songs to be shown to the film producers. Only two title codes meanings have been confirmed, the first one is htb which stands for (and is the shorter version of) heart beat, the second one is lit which stands for light. lit(var) remains the most iconic and the most important piece in the film, because its played during the movies conclusion and goal, which is Shouya reaching the light.")
