After almost 20 years, the continuation to Cardcaptor Sakura is finally here, and Maaya Sakamoto is back as the lead singer of the opening. This opening theme "CLEAR" is composed by Yoshiki Mizuno from Ikimono-gakari. Although not Yoko Kanno's composition like the 3rd opening, I feel like this song perfectly pays homage to all the previous openings, blending all the characteristics of the three previous songs almost perfectly. That intro though, it's almost as beautiful as the 3rd opening "Platinum", which I still regard as the best opening theme of any show period.

My Most Precious Treasure (一番の宝物, Ichiban no Takaramono) is a song by various artists from the Angel Beats! franchise. Three separate renditions of this song exist: Yuis version, the original version, and Yuis final version. Yuis version was used as an ending theme for Episode 10 of the anime series. The original version was played in the final episode and is sung by karuta. The song was released in the Angel Beats! Original Soundtrack.
This cover is based on the original version sung by karuta and played at the very end of episode 13. The original version is told from the perspective of someone who must part ways with his/her past experiences and move onto a new path. This song is arguably the most touching in the series, I have three words to explain why: Jun freaking Maeda.
About the cover:
I already covered this song back in December 2013 as a 1,000 subscribers special with the Yamaha M1. As Im uploading, this channel has 10,500+ subscribers, over ten times as much. This shows just how much progress can be made in less than four years, not just in terms of arrangement, but also overall quality.
I had been planning to re-cover this song for quite some time, and this video perfectly shows the dynamic range and expressiveness of the RD-800. Heres my personal experience having it for almost 2 weeks: I dont feel like playing a digital instrument, it feels and behaves so much like an acoustic instrument. Its almost unbelievable how Roland was able to achieve this. Playing the RD-800 feels like as if youre playing a real grand piano in a studio with headphones on. Each note of the piano sounds have their own very distinct characteristics, something which you can hear quite clearly in this video. It behaves exactly how I want it to behave, all the feedback just feels right, and thats a critical factor for musicians with their instruments. I custom-tailored the piano sound and nuance specifically for this song, which I later saved into the Live Sets and named it SSS after Shinda Sekai Sensen.
Life update:
University classes are at full throttle. I have so many songs to learn and cover, but my time is getting really limited. There will be days where I cant even touch my piano for a few days. I will be less active than usual until mid-December, but I usually find a few spare hours on the weekends to make videos, and by weekends I mean Friday nights.

lit(var) is a soundtrack from A Silent Voice / Koe no Katachi by Kensuke Ushio. Its a variation of the shorter piano-only version of the soundtrack titled lit.
Many people just refer to this track as lit, but it is actually lit(var). lit the shorter version of the soundtrack without orchestra.
I experimented with the piano sounds and mix. This soundtrack is only played once in the film at its climax, when Shouya finally achieves the light.
Although Shouko is the main heroine and seems to be the center of everything in the film, in truth, its about Shouyas journey through his redemption. The film is full of hidden messages in its visuals.
[[[ SPOILERS ]]]
The scene at the end where Shouya uncovers his ears marks the first time in so long that he decided to hear the world again, and then realising just how beautiful everything is once he started to listen. This is very well expressed in the music (I really mean it!), with it going from muted to full power. That feeling when you watch the ending scene and is most likely the same feeling he has, all thanks to the soundtrack that is lit(var).

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? OSTs are... Well, lets say... Unique. The show itself is arguably one of the most hilarious show to ever exist, yet it manages to pull off some emotional scenes very well. This is one of the two emotional soundtracks within the show, the other one being Sangeki no Kioku. It sounds sad and beautiful at the same time, and fits very well into Eucliwoods background. This is my most favorite soundtrack from the show, and I remember digging quite deep into the web looking for it (the title doesnt help), and it turns out the official title is M56A, as random as it is...

Ive played the chorus of this song as part of a medley video back in December 2015. Been waiting for the TV anime version ever since, and Ive been holding back so the upload date matches the airing date of the anime. The chorus arrangement is a mix between the TV animation version and Key CLASSIC version.

I discovered the TV animation version of the song on June 28th, about a week after Key posted it in their official channel. Honestly, in my opinion, its way better than the VN version as this TV animation version includes non-computerized instruments. There are real people behind real instruments recording in a music studio, that gets me really excited, and I really appreciate the effort they put in making this version. This is one example of a song that I just fell in love with the first time I hear it. If you guys know a song which has a similar vibe to this, feel free to let me know!
