I have been tasked with the challenge to make videos to go along with songs written by my friend Sandy Soffe from Pennsylvania that go along with the Twelve Steps endorsed by Celebrate Recovery. The Celebrate Recovery Twelve Steps are pretty much the same as the Twelve Steps used by Alcoholics Anonymous. While AA uses the vague phrase "higher power", Celebrate Recovery's version makes it very clear that that "higher power" is Jesus Christ.
A very pretty song about asking the Lord to give us peace. Boy, in these tumultuous days of Covid in 2020, do we sure need peace. The lyrics hearken to Isaiah 26:3 - "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You." And we do trust in Him, because despite of this current turmoil, He is in control.
