The Sandman is a critically acclaimed and much beloved comic book. Written by Neil Gaiman from 1989 through 1996 across 75 issues and with interesting artists including Sam Kieth, Mike Dringenberg, Charles Vess, and many more, it helped DC Comics establish its successful Vertigo line.
